God blessed Oakdale Baptist with a quant and beautiful area called Monjares, Choluteca, Honduras. They were blessed with a hard working pastor named David. Pastor David travels each week about two hours down from his mountain top home community called El Corpus to serve this community called Monjares. He is very dedicated to this community as the people know him very well as he rides through the streets each week to serve his Lord and Savior. Pastor David planted a sister church about an hour away in a community in El Tablor. So Pastor David's plate is very full but he always has a smile on his face and he pastors his flock. The people in El Tablor love their pastor and friend. He goes each Friday to worship with his small congregation with many children. As he goes through this community church members or not every one says hello to the local pastor who is not local at all. Pastor David puts many miles on the road for his Lord. What an example of service this is? What a sacrifice for his family in El Corpus who see him maybe three days a week. Well done good and faithful servant.
