There is sometimes blessings and not so much blessings as you approach your project. You will never know if your blocks will be where they need to be for the five days ahead. It seems New Hope always gets blessed with having to move 60 blocks oh no I am sorry I meant to say 600 blocks into the foundation of the home. Mrs. Ginger told her friends the wrong number. I said 60 instead of 600. They were all standing around waiting for their next task and Mr. Mike says you guys need 600 blocks in the center of the foundation. Pastor Brian looked at me and I said sorry I left out one of the zeros. Pretty important detail. So off they went as they continued their brigade of moving the 540 blocks inside the foundation. Guess what, they still love me, Praise God.
Also the four corners was going up at the same time. Christian and Taylor were learning from the best on how to set the cornerstones. John Scott and Mr. Mike worked with them to teach them a new way of leveling and setting the post in the ground. These young people are quick learners and did it right the first time. Thanks for your willingness to take on a new task and go with it until completion.
John Scott and Justin not so blessed. They picked the wrong cornerstone to set in place. I have to give John Scott credit he stuck with it and did not stop until he got it completed. Moses, Mr. Mike and Cristobal all came over to assist them in their small opportunity Way to go John Scott in how you persevered until you got it right. This is how it should be with our walk with the Lord. He is our Cornerstone. Jesus does not give up on us. He carries us on to completion. He will carry us until His work on this Earth is done. Like John Scott are you preserving your walk with the Lord? Are you allowing HIM to carry you on to completion? Or are you trying to do it yourself? Jesus gave it all for us so let's live like HIM in our daily walk. Let's give HIM our all to completion here on this Earth.
Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: "'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?
