Servant Hearts

Serving comes in many categories.  Ray, team leader encouraged his team to be servants and he led by example.  Ray along with Judy and Cathy(not pictured) served water all week to the workers.  We took our serving to the baseball field where Mike, Manuel and Ray taught Deigo how to play baseball.  His grandfather worked for us some last year during the construction.  Manuel invited them out for the Sunday baseball game.  Mike geared him up while Manuel and Ray took time to teach him about baseball.  I went to the pulperia for something and was working in there when Deigo came to me behind the table and gave me a big hug and said gracious.  Wow, how humbling this was to receive a hug from a five year old without his grandfather prompting him to do so.  His grandfather was at the field watching the game when little Deigo found me.  Thank you God for teaching us all how to be humble servants and receivers of such blessings.

All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:
Deuteronomy 28:2

He said: "LORD, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth--you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
2 Chronicles 6:14
