On June 27 of this year God blessed the ministry in Honduras of North Carolina Baptist Men with their first intern. We would like to introduce you to our friend and brother in Christ, Justin. Last year during Justin's devotional one evening the maturity of his sharing the gospel with his peers took Mike and I back a little. We had been praying for an intern one day once we got on the ministry campus, Mt. Horeb. Well God answered our prayer that evening. Later in the year we asked Justin if he would prayerfully consider coming and serving 3-4 weeks with us in 2016. The next year 2016 he gave us the answer we were hoping. He said yes!!!
So on June 27 he arrived with some strangers from Salemburg Baptist Church. They did not stay strangers for very long. They received Justin with open arms and he worked beside them for their eight day visit almost daily on their construction site. Justin made some new friends in Christ and learned so much from both teams he worked with. He also got to work eight days with Floyd's Creek Baptist Church. Justin was a huge blessing for this team as they were low in numbers this year. The extra hands and feet was a blessing for Floyd's Creek.
Remember the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when he said to me, "Assemble the people before me to hear my words so that they may learn to revere me as long as they live in the land and may teach them to their children."
