Long Time Friends

Matt brought a young man from my hometown to Honduras this year.  They have known each other for six years.  They have been together since the beginning of Pharmacy School.  It was a blessing to see these two godly gentlemen working side by side this week for their Lord.  We are grateful Matt encouraged his friend John to come this year.  John shared how humbled he was to see over one hundred children come to church on Sunday and many of them walked a long ways to come to church.  He shared how they were full of joy as they sang hymns in the church.  They were truly worshiping the Lord at such a very young age. It taught him to not take anything for granted not even worshiping our Lord.  We should all be persistent with our walk with our Lord.  We should be grateful we have the right to worship freely and to serve our Lord and Savior. Good friends are hard to come by and when you meet these two young gentlemen it is refreshing to see God is still at work in the lives of our young people.  What a great memory to have going on a medical mission trip together to share the love of Jesus Christ with others through what gifts God has given the two of you.
