Worship Service

This team arrived on a Saturday and attended church on Sunday before their work week began.
We had our youngest pastor to ever speak through the North Carolina Baptist Men and Women's ministry here in Honduras.  Thank you Matt, a third time returnee of this Campbell Medical Team.
As we entered the church it was packed from front to back.  There were a few seats near the front for the team to sit.  One of the ladies of this church cleaned out the first two rows in the middle to make room for those of us standing at the back of the church.
We sang numerous praise and worship hymns.  Ginger read out of Jeremiah 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."  I know Matt did not realize when praying his sermon on Saturday evening he would have a church full of children and adults.  There is actually 250 children in this church family.  We were definitely missing some today.  But it was still a full sanctuary, with standing room only.  But God had a plan for Matt that Sunday morning and Matt allowed God to use him in a mighty way.  Matt approached the pulpit with a calmness only our Heavenly Father could provide through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Matt's sermon topic was "Peace Through God".  We need to have peace in God beyond our own understanding. We can all have faith in Jesus Christ, even as small as a mustard faith and God can do anything through us.  Christian life is not suppose to be easy.  We as Christians have the power of the Holy Spirit which dwells inside of each of us to help us along life's journey.  We need to spend time alone with HIM, time in HIS Word and when we are walking in the darkness HE will bring us into the light.  We have to be grounded in HIS Word. If God is for us who can be against us.  God has got us if we only allow HIM in our lives.
In Romans 8:30 we are called for a purpose.  This time we are here is not an accident.  Everything under God our Father has a purpose.  There is a sense of community in here today and with that being said we can all have that love only Jesus Christ through His blood on the cross can provide.  If you do not know this Jesus who can save us all please see your pastor before leaving here today or someone in your church family or even me, I would love to share the love of Jesus Christ with you.
Thank you so much for having us here today and God bless you all.
