Ray brought a childhood friend to Honduras this year with him. I want to welcome Eddie known in Honduras as "Joey Eddie". These two gentlemen worked side by side and set side by side during the week at meals, devotional and just chilling time. This is a very special relationship between these two young men only God could have created. Ray has stayed right by Eddie's side throughout his childhood, teenage years and up until adult life. They are both there for each other at any time. How many of us can say we have a true friend like Ray and Eddie have. This is an unique gift from God and now they have shared Honduras together. Ray prayed for many years for Eddie to come with him and this year Ray's prayers were answered. Eddie has a spirit we all need to grab and hang on to. His compassion and love for his Lord and Savior and how he can find joy in all things good and bad. His Halleluiahs are contagious and inspiring as he shares his God moments nightly. How he quickly saw the love of Jesus Christ in the Honduran people and the joy they endure daily with their minimum resources. How their generosity outweighs any sacrifice his team made. Eddie said one day they gave us their all knowing what they may not have the next day. Eddie came for his first time and walked away with so much more than he came with. God is so good!!!!
We are so thankful you answered Ray's prayer by coming with him this year Eddie.
