Monday June 17 was one of our staff member's birthday along with team leader John which his birthday and anniversary of 44 years is Thursday, June 20. So had a combination birthday party for Juan y Alexia on Alexia's birthday. We ate our dinner as normal and then Pastor Carlos called a meeting of the Hondurans at the end of the table where Alexia and I were sitting, this was to keep Alexia from leaving while Mike got the cake prepared to present to her. Everyone started singing once Mike brought out the birthday cake and placed it in front of Alexia. She looked at it to see another name, Juan. We explained Juan had a birthday this week as well and we were celebrating them both together and all she did was give us that gorgeous smile only Alexia can have. Mike got her good with eggs on her head and everyone enjoyed the celebration of two lives God created many years ago with a delicious pineapple birthday cake. We are blessed.
