Wow those gables went up quickly on day four. The entire team was hard at work while Mike was on the ground cutting each specialized block to perfection. Everyone was a team player this day. They pushed hard and by lunch time they were done. This was a record time of putting up the gables to completion, one and half hours. Remember this was small but powerful team who worked hard up on those scaffolding and Yobani was telling Cristobal one time to fill in his joints a little better and Cristobal laughed and corrected his tiny hole in the joint. Yobani all week took pride in his new home. I so enjoyed watching him take true ownership of his home.
Charlene shared the Beatitudes one evening during her devotionals. Which really relates to this day for the team where they have been living out their life for Christ all week working hard because they were working for God and not man. The team lived out the Beatitudes all week on the job site. Actually there is another verse which makes me think of this team.
