Mr. Mike gathered the very new team. Ray and Mrs. Becky were the only return members. So Mike had a captive audience as he taught the team how to lay block Honduran style. I heard him tell them a thumbs width between each block and remember fill those joints between those blocks as if you were building your home. Everyone caught on quickly and off they go building Ana's family their home. Pastor Carlos was most impressed with the ladies of this team who worked as hard as the gentlemen did. Sometimes when a group of mainly women show up the Hondurans are not quiet sure how the week may go. But Catalyst church sent a group of hard working women with a group of men who worked just as hard as they did. Blocks were going up and being cut and this first morning was right on schedule by their much needed lunch break. Great first day family!!!!
