Each day this group woke up to the beauty of God's creation all around them. They were able to here birds singing and cows mooing. They were able to feel the stillness and coolness of a new day. In the evening they saw beautiful sunsets go down over some mighty grandeur mountains. They were surrounded by the simplicity of God's creation. His handy work of what He provides for us daily. How often do we miss out on a sunset or sunrise because we are too busy "doing". This week these young people were able to slow down and take in the beauty of our Lord and Savior's creation and be forever blessed by Mt. Horeb. What a beautiful place to be able to come and refuel your soul in His Word and prayer each and every day. There is not stuff getting in the way of you and God. What a gift from God this is. Mr. Mike's and my prayer is you will take this specialness you had this week and continue it on a daily basis. Give the Lord the beginning of each and every day and end with HIM as well. He has given so much for us, HIS SON, we should always make time for HIM. He gave HIS ALL for you and me, sinners. Our only hope and refuge is found in being in HIS PRESENCE daily. Take time and be still, what a great way to start your day. I wish I knew what you all knew as a teenager I was not blessed to be involved in a youth group much less go internationally to serve HIM. What a blessing this has been for all of you. Look forward to watching your journey with the Lord continue to grow and mature in HIS NAME.
