What A Blessing

This week God blessed Mike and Ginger with their home family.  What a huge blessing watching these young people sat such great examples for everyone around them.  The young people are our future and this group of young people took Jesus to a different level.
There God moments at night justified their maturity level of what they saw and experienced all week.  I would like to take the time right now to share some with you all.
Taylor as she arrived to Mt. Horeb stood on the dorm porch taking in the magnitude of God's beauty all around her. Taylor was humbled by the love and compassion shown by Justin, Tabitha and Brian.  But most of all she was carrying one of the boards one day and it got stuck.  Naun was coming along and helped her out with one of his small but beautiful smiles.
Justin shared his biggest God moments was seeing his family coming through the glass windows of the airport.  He was grateful to God for getting them all to Honduras safely. Justin share done evening during Becky's devotional how this is not our house we are building but it is the Lord's. The house is the tool we have to be able to share the love of Jesus Christ with the people.  Justin enjoyed Pastor Carlos' devotionals daily.
Mason shared how he observed the Hondurans never stopped.  They pushed and persevered until the task was complete.  They got tired just like we did but never stopped working. During his devotional he shared we are the hands and feet of Jesus here in Honduras and we need to take it back home with us.
Tabitha shared how what Johnny shared at the home dedication.  Johnny shared they did not say a lot and did not show much emotions but the entire team was in their hearts.
Anna Kate shared how she sees God wanting to teach her something this week.  She saw the beauty of the little girl who could not speak or hear go get into Sarah's lap with security in knowing Sarah would love her unconditionally.
John Scott shared how he was proud of the enthusiasm of the team each day.  He was also grateful to Mike for spending so much time with Christian and teaching him how to work like a Honduran.
Sarah shared how she was in awe of the passion Miriam had for her grandmother's plate.  The pride Miriam took into a plate when she shared with Sarah how she would guard it with all her heart and protect it just like she would protect her own two eyes.
Becky could speak the language.  She shared how she enjoyed talking to Meida.  How Meida shared her life with Becky and how Becky shared with Meida God can make the impossible happen.  Becky shared how Miriam took her face into her hands and said thank you for my home.
Sophia shared how she enjoyed the times of praying.  How she was in awe of how hard Tyler worked for the Lord. She also shared how hard Taylor was working for the Lord. Sophia was an encourager for her team.  When she spoke her words spoke volumes.
Christian shared how he enjoyed learning and working with Mr. Mike as he worked patiently with him.  Christian also was humbled by Diego sharing his top with him and helping him learn how to do the top. Christian shared how Becky was sitting next to him at devotionals at the job site and she translated it for him.
Tyler, summer intern was brought into the fold as one of the team.  Tyler felt like a team member he shared even while at the airport in Raleigh.  He also was humbled by Moses' devotional.  Tyler shared this was more than a devotional this was a powerful sermon about Jesus.
Pastor Brian shared so many God moments this week.  One of how proud he was of this team and how he felt more like a team member than the team leader.
Thank you God for such an amazing week serving you in Honduras.
