Team leader, Gregg taught all his new friends from Element Church and couple of new folks from Floyds Creek how to lay blocks. Everyone gathered around as the lesson began. Gregg was detailed with his instructions and carefully demonstrated how each block should go with a thumb space between each block. Pawpaw also assisted some of them as they adventured out on their own and team up with a fellow team member to get those 1400 blocks laid by day five.
Gregg did a great job instructing his team how to lay block. Because they got started and kept it flowing beautifully throughout the first day. They got five courses up to completion before calling it a day. Team member Shannon came up and asked me how can I serve you today. I shared with her those blocks can go up beautifully but what makes a beautiful building is those smooth joints. I shared with her how many women on the team take this job on and take it very seriously and at the end of the week they have produced a masterpiece. When we are doing God's work or any work we need to do it with our whole being. I was grateful to Shannon for asking what can I do to serve you this week. We should all come here ready to serve and give God our best because it is for HIM we are truly serving.
