Caleb celebrated his birthday on the first day of the project as Cody's came along on the fourth day of the project. We were able to find some good old fashion cupcakes with yes some Betty Crocker chocolate icing. I gave the cupcakes to Hannah and the ladies of the team so they could get the icing on the cupcakes before supper. After everyone was finished eating supper Hannah came to me to say we are ready for the birthday party. Hannah and I gave out the cupcakes as the team members sang Happy Birthday to these two fine gentlemen. What a beautiful way to celebrate your birthday in Honduras serving your Lord. Both young men came to me afterwards with gratitude in their hearts for the simple gesture of a chocolate cupcake. I shared with them we love celebrating birthdays in Honduras. It is a treat for all of us. Our Honduran staff gets excited as well to get something sweet once in a while.
