Honduran Cuisine

This group loves the Honduran food.  We never can have enough for them.  This is one group where there are no left overs.  This year with twenty two folks Senovia along with Anna worked hard each day to provide these folks with some hearty meals which they all enjoyed.  The first evening praise the Lord  Mike and second group arrived by 6:15 which was my specific prayer that day. I had gathered the first team up for supper to pray when Pastor Carlos came in to say Mike is about twenty minutes out.  So we waited so the entire team could partake of dinner together.  This is everyone's favorite meal, beans, rice, tortillas, plantains and lots of creama.  Throughout the week they enjoyed enchiladas, pastalitas, chicken and rice, hamburger with slaw and rice and on Sunday evening they decided to eat sandwiches for supper.  They ate light on Sunday evening.

Because the gentlemen of the team cooked a huge breakfast which consisted of country ham, imported by PawPaw, grits, eggs and pancakes.  They got up extra early to provide this hearty breakfast for their team mates.  Thank you to Sam, PawPaw, Gregg, Mark, Magness, Boyce and Tim.  Everyone enjoyed such a treat.  This has been a team tradition for many years says team leader, Gregg.  The men always get up on Sunday morning and prepare a big breakfast.  Our Honduran staff enjoyed their first bite of country ham.  It was a huge success.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
