Greetings from Mt. Horeb to Floyd's Creek Baptist Church

Once we gathered up the hill, Mike introduced the team to our Honduran staff who work and live on Mt. Horeb.  Team leader, Gregg, allowed each one of his team to introduce themselves as Mike introduced the staff who will be working beside them for the week.  Pastor Carlos stood back in awe of what was fixing to take place.  Pastor Carlos has worked diligently for North Carolina Baptist Men for the last two years on Mt. Horeb.  He and two more gentlemen started out living on what we then called the property under a blue tarp with no bathroom facilities from June until September of 2013.  September rolled around and the Lord built the first dwelling on the property.  This became a place for Pastor Carlos and other staff who worked on the property a place to stay.  They still did not have a bathroom.  The gentlemen made a make shift shower but still they did not have a bathroom.  We never once heard anyone complain of their living conditions.  They were all grateful for their jobs on the property and gave their all to help further the work which was ahead.  In 2014 the security fence went up around a portion of the 36 acres we soon named "Mt. Horeb" out of Deuteronomy 4:9-10.  So on this particular when Floyd's Creek accepted the calling to come back to Honduras to work on Mt. Horeb they are blessing one godly sincere pastor who deserves this home.  He will now have privacy in the evening to prepare his sermons for his church up in the mountains of Los Uvas.  We are grateful for this time and place to help us get closer to being on Mt. Horeb permanently.    All God's people shouted "AMEN".

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
