As the relationships are being built the home is getting built as well. Each day the five courses are going up and the team with folks from different backgrounds became a n unified team, building Samuel's home. John shared one evening how the unity level of this group was a true gift from God. Everyone found their spot and off they went to get this family's home built. In their short time the unified group put 800 blocks into place with the support of 50 plus bags of cement, two doors and two windows, floor and a roof. It is amazing to watch a home go up in one short week. Each week as teams come and go the weeks get shorter and shorter. Time goes by too quickly so enjoy it by serving our Lord and Savior. If you are reading this today and have not experienced this joy you are reading about I pray you will connect with someone and find out what true joy is, living and loving others in the name of Jesus. We always wonder why folks keep coming back to serve with us where the heat is hotter than hot and the work is hard and strenuous. But the answer is they love God first and they definitely loves these sweet folks in this precious part of the world called Honduras. We thank God for all who come along beside us to serve here and to further God's kingdom through laying out 800 blocks and a lot of sweat in one short week.
