Pastor John did an amazing job on the home dedication. He shared out of Joshua 24:15 and Psalm 127:1 how this house is now a home for the Lord for all to observe. It will be beacon for the community to be shared by all God's love for each other. Carol shared what a joy it was to be a part of this week and meeting everyone and enjoying the genuine fellowship they received. She shared how they were welcomed warmly from the first day until now. They did not know each other but now we are all family in Christ. After praying over the home and presenting the key to Samuel, Sulema, Diana, Samuel and Joselin we enjoyed a huge pot of chicken soup. This pot fed at least 50 of us this beautiful Saturday afternoon. After some good old fashion fellowship the men volunteered to play with the children as the women went down the paths one more to the mango trees for the women's' bible study. As all the activities continued Samuel got a chair and went inside his home and set back and reflected on the past week. Several times during our God moments Katie and others commented on how Samuel took such pride in making those 800 blocks a beautiful home. He went behind the North Americans and cleaned up the mortar they may have dropped while working or he cleaned up the joints just a little bit more or cleaned the tools which did not even belong to him each and every day. Samuel is a man full of pride for himself and his family and for his Lord. He set an awesome example of godly man.
Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else,
