Reunion and VBS

Since the group offered to work on Mt. Horeb they chose to worship with Los Delicious and do VBS with the children for three days.  As all you know if you have worked on the building of the church everyone loves Carlos.  He is always so excited to see his old friends and to show them the church which he so deeply loves.  His excitement of being a Christian is how we all should be.  We could learn a lot from our friend, Carlos.  Pastor Robert got a taste of this excitement when he arrived.  The team did VBS with the children.  Rachel shared the story of Noah's Ark.  Marie's God moment the second day of VBS was it was her turn to share the bible story.  They left the bible story book at the mission house so she relied on God to lead the way for this bible story.  The team members shared how beautifully Marie did and how she brought this bible story to life.  Afterwards they made puppets of Joseph's coats of many colors.  Rachel shared how she sat with one little fellow who was an outcast by his friends.  He was covered with flees and flees bites.  Rachel sat with him while he made his puppet.  Afterwards they gathered to dismiss and this little fellow came up to Rachel and hugged her and thank her for helping him with his puppet.  Rachel shared how God used this little fellow to reveal to her does she do this for everyone who may seem an outcast to their peers.  God revealed to Rachel how she needs to be more sensitive to others and their situations.  The last day they shared the plan of salvation and did salvation bracelets.  Sandy prepared in advance with the help of her grandchildren the bags for the beads and leather bracelets along with a Spanish version of what each color means.  Sandy shared with her grandchildren how they were apart of this mission trip as well as the team who physically entered this beautiful country called Honduras.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
Matthew 19:14
