God's Blessing Becoming a Home

Mike assisted in his class of block 101 for those who needed a refresher course.  The ladies on this team are can lay out some very beautiful joints.  The seams, joints, were done with a lot of love and care.  The ladies on this team, Carol, Katie, Lynda, Sarah and Anna take this job duty very seriously.  They do it as Jesus would to it.  They gave it there very best and it was so obviously.  Thank you so much ladies for taking the time to make Jose and Victoria's home one they are proud of.  I am sure Jesus is saying well done good and faithful servants.  In these tiny piece of heaven everyone was working together.  The Honduran brothers kept the North Americans and Pastor Carlos in mescal.  By the end of their first day their five courses were completed and doors put into place.  Pastor John shared during God moments he was very proud of such a group who came together from three different churches and became one in Christ Jesus.  Their worked he shared showed how they allowed God to use them in a mighty way on their first day together.  God is great like that.   Charles, team member, shared how this team was not an accident.  It was orchestrated by God before they were even born.
Justin did the devotion for the first night after the first day on the job site.  His devotional was right on target.  "Why Us?" "Why are we here?" They can do this without us.  "Why are we here?"  "Is what I am doing take a Christian to do this task?"  "NO".  But we are here as Christians to do what we are called to do, HIS good works.  Justin continued to share let's not limit our good works just on the house, but let's be the hands and feet of Jesus to all our friends, family or any one God puts in front of us.  Let's continue this week by encouraging each other on the job site or back here on the campus. Let others see Jesus in each of us this week as we work beside our brothers and sisters in Honduras.

not by works, so that no one can boast.
For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Ephesians 2:9-10
