After the four cornerstones got put into place and the plumb line was secure, the mescal was mixed and poured on the board, Pastor Carlos shouted, "Listo" which means he is ready to lay the first block and pray over it. Juan's son, Beluto gathered his mother gently by the arm to lead her up to the block to place her hand upon. Once she got settled and securely in place we ask Pastor Carlos to led the prayer. Since Pastor Carlos led us in this direction to find this precious little family we asked him to pray over the first block. He prayed even though Juan was up in years it was never to late to get a prayer answered or receive such a gift from God. He prayed God's blessing over the family as we all gathered around touching one another and connecting in Christian fellowship during this special time. This first block was covered in prayer as was the entire week ahead. Mike and I are so blessed to be surrounded by such strong body of believers which we get to work for and with on a daily basis.
