Salemburg Baptist Church Returns to Serve the Lord

On June 27, Salemburg Baptist Church arrived in Tegus to bless a family with a new home.  But as always they will be the ones blessed beyond any words.  Team leader, John's lovely wife, Carol,  comes off the bus greeting her new found friends with some of her own Spanish skills.  Everyone immediately starting mingling with each other.  I stood back in awe of how well the two groups of people blended immediately.  The community God has taken us to this week is called Colonia Jersulen Ciudad Nueva, Choluteca.  Mike had to ask if we could form a circle and meet each other again.  Everyone smiled and formed a circle to meet,

Jose Santiago Zepeda Hunoz, his lovely and precious wife, Victoria,  son, Jose age 23 and their daughter, Patirica age 13.  Throughout the week the team learned Jose, son was not Jose's son by he and Victoria.  Jose, the father, adopted Jose as his own once he married Victoria.  It was shared one evening during God moments this family already had a strong "home" not in materials but in each other.  There is definitely the love of Jesus within these four precious people God gave us the opportunity to serve this week.

"As for me and my house we will serve the Lord"
