Roof and Futbol

Charles offered his services on the roof with the assistance of Pastor Carlos.  As Charles was handed the tin by David, Dexter and John the boys were out in the street playing futbol.  I was told Justin played the entire morning with these fellows.  Thank you Justin for finding a time to build relationships with other young brothers in Christ.  This is what building a home is all about building relationships with our fellow believers from Honduras.  Charles built a huge relationship with Pastor Carlos as they worked together for the first time to make sure this home stays dry during the rainy season.  It is so beautiful how God places us where we need to be and God allows the job to get done with two people until this week had not worked together.  God knows who he wants where and when if we only obey and listen.  Thank you Charles for listening to God's calling to climb up on that house and receive another blessing from God.

David shared during his devotional how God uses all our opportunities to strengthen our faith in Him and our trust in Him as well.  Romans 5 describes a what a believer is and Isaiah  26:3 explains peace we can only find in God through the Holy Spirit.  Our outer actions represent our inner actions.  Katie shared we were hugging folks we did not know because this is what God would want us to do through faith in Him and trusting Him through loving and hugging others in His name.  Charles observe two little sisters simply loving on each other.  We need to do more of this with our loved ones.  We need to share Jesus' love with everyone.  If they do not see Jesus' love through us as Christian how will they see it and know and feel this most wonderful gift of Jesus. God's peace is a precious gift in life we need to embrace.
