For two to three days the children got their faces paint. There were all ages getting their faces painted. I was sitting back watching Tammy and Stacy painting faces. The children coming by wanting me to take their pictures. As I was watching I thought Stacy and Tammy sure are painting a lot of faces. I walked up to the stage of the sanctuary and Leigh and Anna, the translator, was face paining as well. Everyone enjoyed getting their face painted. This took place daily as the children were arriving for VBS. Thanks ladies for all the hard work.
Sunday School consisted of over 100 children. They had to meet outside because of the large number of them. They did the story of Noah's Ark. They all worked diligently on their coloring picture. They did a skit of Noah getting on the ark with the animals. The children acted out being the animals going two by two into the Ark. After preaching Pastor Joey joins the VBS and helps distribute a coloring book about Jesus to the children. This was an amazing week with a lot of hard work put into the week of VBS. Thank you Antioch Baptist for making this a week these children will remember
Cannot leave out the daily futbol game. The team broke the children up into two groups, the older and the younger. While one group was doing their craft the other group would walk a ways up the street to a huge futbol field. The adults played hard so they could keep up with their fellow team mates. They played to the end and never once complained. Raymond did ask on the last day and last group come some one take his place, he was exhausted. The children loved Raymond as you can see in the picture above. They flocked around him all week long. Thank you each for loving and playing with these children.
