While the final touches were going up the ladies were enjoying the children under the mango trees. Before the bible story Penny and Betty Lynn were throwing Frisbees with the children. Maida was jumping rope with some of the children and some were playing futbol. The job site was blessed with numerous children the entire week. But I feel God truly blessed us on the last day as a small number gathered around for the bible story. Betty Lynn brought bible stories in a book form. It was special to see the children attentive listening to the story read from a book. I could not help but wonder if this has happen many times in their lives. Books are a treasure every child should be able to enjoy. Sometimes it is forgotten not everyone has this luxury in life. Maida sang songs with them which they enjoyed and sang Jesus Loves Me in English, Spanish and Sign Language. Then at the end they hummed the tune. Angelical music came out from the mango trees as the guys said they could hear them as they worked. Thank you God for the beautiful sound of children. There was all ages with us under the mango trees that morning as God's word was shared through story, music and play.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
