This week started with the most important question for some of us, "Where is your bathroom?" Jessica was embarrassed to say she did not have one. I was sadden by my question. She shared that a lady across the street would allow us to use her bathroom if needed. Also Jessica's family only gets water once a week. The day the truck came by to give her water for her pilla, the hose on that particular water truck would not reach to Jessica's pilla. So the truck left. One of Jose and Rony's job duties each day was going in the Kia down the street to a neighbor's home. This neighbor shared his water supply with the family. They took barrels down and filled them up once a day. Pastor Brian had water and Gatorade left over the second day and offered it to the family. Orlin was taken back by the offer of receiving fresh cold water for drinking. Pastor Brian was taken back as well as something as simple as a cold drink of water could cause someone to be overwhelmed with joy. Do you have fresh water to drink today? If your answer is yes, then you are blessed.
but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
