As folks were arriving for church on Sunday everyone was meeting and greeting one another. There was this one young gentleman of 81 years who caught my eye. Maida walked over as she saw I was carrying on a full conversation with this gentleman. Pastor Juan Bautista and Pastor Brian came over as well. Pastor Miguel started the Capernium Baptist Church thirty years ago. He was the pastor of this church. He came from Tegus fifty year ago to live in this beautiful city of Choluteca. We joked about it being much cooler in Choluteca than Tegus. Pastor Juan Bautista stood back with a huge smile on his face as Pastor Miguel how the church got started in some one's home and continue to grow until today where there is a huge community of believers worshiping there on a regular basis. This church sits on the main road where there is continuous traffic and people going by. I sat and watched the busyness going on around this church but everyone who walked by heard the Word of God being sung or preached in this church building. Thank you Pastor Miguel for starting this church thirty years ago so we could worship with you on this beautiful Sunday morning.
The LORD had said to Abram, "Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.
"I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."
So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran."
