Lunch Time

 

 

On the third day I sat there and watched Jessica cleaning fish for lunch.  I got Mike's attention and shared in English we are having fish for lunch today.  Pastor Carlos grins and says in Spanish pescado fritos.   He understand my English to Mike.  So we all laughed as Jessica looked and was wondering what was so funny about her cleaning fish.  Maida shared with her Pastor Carlos story about the fish in English.

Pastor Brian comes over for lunch and sits down on a block with his banana sandwich looking all pitiful.  I asked him would he like a fish plate and he quickly shared yes please.  Jessica was excited he wanted to eat her fish for his lunch.  Pastor Brian very quickly gave his banana sandwich away to one of the boys.  After lunch everyone took a much needed siesta under the shade of the mango trees.  God provided shade each day for the team to come and take a five minute break or their lunch break.

 

Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people.
