Many Many Jobs

The team arrives not knowing how to build a home except for Pastor Brian.  So they humbly are given lessons on how to lay the block by Mr. Mike.  We call it Block 101 Honduran style.  They quickly learned how to lay a block and off they went.  But there is so much more to building a house they laying the 800 blocks on the foundation.  There is mixing the mescal.  Then you take the mescal to the boards and pour the mixture onto the boards.  The house really looks beautiful if you carefully clean the joints between each block.  The drippings of mescal need to be scraped up off the ground .  Then you need to cut more blocks and make sure you measure them precisely to order so they can be cut.  Uno, dos, tres, quarto, cinqo, sies, siete and ocho is the magic number.  Pastor Brian learned out to cut the blocks in Spanish this week.  Pastor Brian needed blocks to cut so Juan Paublo and Rony along side of Kevin and Kaitlyn took Pastor Brian the blocks needed for him to cut.  This was team effort this week.  Kevin was given the job to go and cut the rebar for some final touches.  There is so many tiny things needed to be done to make this house a home.  Well done good and faithful servants.

His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
Matthew 25:23
