The team gathered with the family for their bittersweet moment of the week. Jessica was getting a home but the team will return home. It does my heart good to see teams come here and take a bit of Honduras home with them. Pastor Brian and team did this. They all love these beautiful folks of Honduras. As they prepared for the dedication the night before it was beautiful watching the service come together. Pastor Brian asked for their input on how the service should flow. The team came together and got it planned. Victoria opened the dedication with a word of prayer as they led into a scripture read by Katelyn Joshua 24:15, "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord." Pastor Brian asked Austin to present the bible as Jessica opened it and looked through the Word, she knew this was how she got her home. God gave her this home for her family. After Austin gave the bible to her, she shared her gratitude to God first then to her church family and she thanked the team for coming and helping make this house become a home. Pastor Juan Bautista shared his gratitude and pleasure to work beside each of them this week. Kevin read out of Matthew 7:7 about how Jessica asked God for a home and now God gave her the keys to her new open so she could open the door and rejoice in the Lord for those sets of keys to her new future.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
