Each evening we gathered around to share in God's Word. But two of the evenings Lynn led choir practice for worship service on Sunday. She pulled in Martha to help lead the team in Victory in Jesus in Spanish. Yes this team sings the chorus in Spanish. They practiced hard learning the words so they can sing it in the native language for these wonderful folks here in Honduras. A new team member Bernie had the first evening of devotionals where she shared how we are all one in the Lord out of Psalm 18 being her favorite bible verse. She challenged everyone else to share their favorite bible verse as well. Danielle shared how it was refreshing to be here in Honduras this week away from all the turmoil going on back home. Her favorite bible verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. Pastor Randy shared how from a selfish perspective to get away for seven days from the phones and computers away from the daily routine and to focus on what God has called each of us to do this week. His favorite bible verse is Psalm 46:10. Brenda shared how anxious she was about coming to Honduras and God said He was with her. Her favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13.
Each evening someone different shared from God's word. Thank you for such a spirit filled week church family.
