They arrived ready to get those last minute details ready Ms. Becky got her water supply ready for cleaning the instruments with the assistance of Johnathan. Dr. John and long time friend Donna got their thoughts together and what they needed to get started on their day ahead. Dwanna collecting her instruments for Dr. Isa. Everyone was busy. The church members brought in floor fans for someone's home to help keep the stations cool where the Dentist and staff would be working. Everyone was working hard to get all the details finalized before 9:00 am.
At 8:45 I believe they were ready to start their day. Dr. John gathered everyone together to start their day in a word of prayer. We all gathered in the sanctuary in a huge circle holding hands ready for this moment to begin. There was several nationalities in this circle, Honduran, North American and Egyptian as well. We were blessed to have God using all of us for His Kingdom work. It does not matter the nationality, the language barrier or the dynamics of our lives God can use us all if we are only willing to come and serve HIM. This was proven throughout this week. New team member Jim prayed over several folks as they were waiting to be seen by the Dentist. Prayer was a huge instrument used this week at this dental clinic.
Dr. Henry shared in his devotion one morning "If God is for us who is against us" out of Romans 8:31-34. Prayer is so powerful. So we need to pray without ceasing. Jesus prayers for us and encourages us through our prayers to HIM. Thank you Jesus for the power of prayer.
