As you read earlier, Julie overcame many fears while accepting the call to serve in Honduras. Julie taught all of us so much this week. Going out on faith in God will allow you and me to be so much more than we truly are. It allows God to use us where we thought we would never go. Be like Julie and let
God pull you out of your comfort zone and be stretched beyond anything you could truly imagine for your life. Our God is so much bigger than we ever allow HIM to be. Today if you are saying as I have said so many times you cannot do something like go on a mission trip to Honduras or even going to live in Honduras then you are putting God in a box. Take the plunge as Julie did, let God spit out your fears as He did with Jonah, let God use you today as HE has never used you before. Enjoy the beauty of walking in HIS path and being used by God to do mighty works. If we never go out on faith we will never experience what God can truly do in our lives.
Five years ago I finally said yes to God's calling to serve HIM full time in Honduras. It took several months before I said yes to this opportunity which has forever changed my life. Going out on faith, trusting God with your life is the most beautiful journey you will ever embark upon. Your calling may not be to come to Honduras on a 8 day mission trip or live permanently there but what is God calling you to do today? Where is God leading you today? Allow God to strengthen your faith by listening to HIM and what awesome plans HE has for your life.
God will never leave us or forsake us.
