While the team was here last year Katie, one of the ladies on the team asked would I like some new linens for the mission house. She came up with the idea of having a shower for the mission house. So I gave her a wish list. This year Coats Baptist returned with 20 bed pillows, twin sheet sets, full sheet sets and numerous dish rags for the kitchen. Katie wanted to surprise Rosa with the many new items for the mission house. We asked Rosa not to leave until the team had arrived in the afternoon. Rosa waited patiently not sure why she had to hang around but was willing to wait and see. Katie brought two suitcases of items for Rosa to check out. Rosa was not quiet understanding what was happening until the tablecloth appeared. She took it out of the luggage and wrapping went over to the dining table removed the dingy white one to replace it with a beautiful floral print table cloth. This table cloth lighten up the dining area and Rosa all at the same time. Mike and I received new towels for our bathroom with our very own names on them. We have never owned any towels in our 35 years together with our names on them. It was like Christmas in August. Thank you Coats Baptist Church for such a generous blessing for the mission house in Choluteca.
