Block 101

These young people just left some strenuous times at many different colleges.  They studied and crammed all this semester to come to Honduras to take block laying 101 from Mr. Mike.  They listened intently to learn how to do it the Honduran way.  Mr. Mike's ladies did a great job of listening to his instructions and his examples.  Off they went to work teaming up to lay the blocks as Pastor Carlos was working with some of the gentlemen on the team to get them up and going.  The Honduran youth and adults were busy keeping the team in their mortar. What a beautiful sight seeing two different youth groups who do not speak the same language work beside each other all week serving the Lord. The Honduran youth were helping their friend, Elmer, Jr. Alex and Oliver get a home.  We shared the likeness and differences between the two youth group on the last night.  The differences was the language but there was more in common than there was differences.  Finally someone shared we truly are all the same.  They liked their sports, did not mind hard work and they enjoyed laughter amongst each other.  They all like to eat, especially the Honduran meals. So the differences were minimum compared to their common bonds.  These young people in both countries are our future.  We should be proud.

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
Psalm 119:9
