Hard Work Mixing Mescal

The job site was such a tight fit they had to move the mescal crew to the bottom of the hill.  The Honduran men, maybe six total, were bringing water from somewhere down the hill to the location of the mescal pile.  The cement came from Carla's home, the mother and grandmother of all these beautiful folks.  There was materials coming from all directions to get this mescal going and ready to lay the first block.  These gentlemen worked hard all week for their family and friend Walter.  Walter worked hard right beside them carrying the bags of cement down the hill and turn around carrying the buckets of mescal up the hill.  Amazing energy level these Honduran men have.  Walter wanted this home so desperately he would of done whatever it took to get the job done.  This is one of many task Walter performed this week.  The team shared how he went behind them and others smoothing out the joints on his new home.  He took great pride in this project which was quickly becoming a home.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
James 4:10
