There were many times during the week, team member, Barry shared how grateful he was to be able to sit outside and enjoy God's beauty. He shared how beautiful the mountains around the property were but how more beautiful were the sounds of the birds each morning as he made his way up to prepare breakfast. He would get his coffee and enjoy the birds singing as the sun came up over the horizon. Also Karen, team member, enjoyed her quiet time with her cup of coffee and her bible in front of her. In the evenings we would have a couple of our devotions on the porch as we reflected on the day. The solitude of Mt. Horeb brings everyone who comes with the right heart condition closer to their Heavenly Father. You cannot help but see God as you sit on any porches of Mt. Horeb.
"But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? Job 12:7-10
