We knew going in this team was going to be blessed in more ways than one. Each day those lovely ladies, Marlen, Marie, Martha, Patirica and Carmen cooked a hot delicious lunch. The menu of the week was chicken and rice, bean soup with egg, bbq chicken and rice and chicken soup. There were a lot of sacrificing of chickens this week. They fixed enough food daily to feed forty people, which includes all the children. The Honduran cuisine was a big hit. Pastor Brian was very happy so happy he asked for more, "Quero Mas".
His friend, Mike told him to say thank you was "Quern Mas" So I told Maida what Pastor Brian said with a chuckle. But Maida thought he was serious so above is Pastor Brain eating his second plate of bbq chicken. He looks at his true long time friend Barry and begged him to help him it his second plate. Barry had no problem assisting Pastor Brian finish up his meal. Our rule here is we do not I mean do not throw away any food. Ask anyone on this team and they will confirm this statement. Thank you Pastor Brian for being such a good sport. You are the best.
Rachel's devotion was on using your gifts and talents to further the kingdom by allowing God to be as big as HE wants to be. These ladies this week allowed God to provide all they needed to feed the multitude daily. Thank you God for your provision and for our obedience in trusting in YOU>
