Every Project is Different

For all our new friends this was not anything unusual.  They arrived to the job site before the 800 blocks did.  Yes I said the team stood back in awe of the Promaco truck which showed up to the project about thirty minutes after them with their 800 blocks.  Mike and Rick stood back and stared, Pastor Carlos stood back and stared from the foundation and Pastor Hector and Issac stood back in awe at what was fixing to take place.  The truck driver tried for thirty minutes to get up as close to the project as he could with the blocks.

So the ladies came down the hill trying to come up with a game plan oh how to make this task as simple as possible for everyone.  There was not a simple way.  They formed an assembly line from the bottom of the hill up to the top of the hill where the foundation laid.  Lynn, Tyler and Pastor Hector were in the foundation to receive each and every block as they climbed up to the top.  Every ten or so minutes the team would say switch so they could give their bodies a break.  At one point they started singing, "If Your Are Happy and You Know It Say AMEN!!!"  They sang this several different times throughout the distribution of the 800 blocks.  Every thirty minutes the team would take a five minute water break.  Team leader, Bette, would shout "back to work guys".  They did this until the task was completed.  Never not once did one person complain about unloading 800 blocks.  To God be the glory for such amazing team work.

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
