Mrs. Alice

Mrs. Alice who is fluent in Spanish brings her many gifts and talents to Honduras to serve her Lord.  Mrs. Alice loves her Lord and lives to talk about it.  As you can see in the above pictures she is always sharing God's love to whoever is around her.  She loves talking with folks about their walk with the Lord.  She will ask them very gingerly in her loving and compassionate voice, "Do you know Jesus," " Do you go to church?", tell me about your relationship with Jesus.  She is prepared and geared up for Jesus at a moments notice.
She shares a program called Moms in Prayer with the ladies but this does not stop her from sharing Jesus with children and the men of Honduras. On the second day the children were following her around and so she stopped just to chat with them and to learn more about them and their families.  She asked them questions like do you go to church, does your family go with you to church and one the best questions of all was what is your favorite bible verses.  A majority of the children shared it was Proverbs 1:8.   Mrs. Alice ask the children could she pray with them.  As she prayed they prayed it back to her, which is a custom here in the churches.
She shared the gospel with a mother, her daughter and one of the mother's friends.  As she talked to them about their salvation she ask the most important question in any one's life, "Do you have Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?"  The answer was a cross the board, no.  But praise the Lord for Mrs. Alice's boldness for the Word.  She asked them would they want to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  The daughter and the mother's best friend both said yes.  So pray with us as we pray for the mother's salvation.
There is so many more stories like the ones above which Mrs. Alice shared throughout her week here.  As of the second day she had led five people to the Lord with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you Mrs. Alice for your love and boldness for Christ.  We all need to follow your lead and get out there and bring the lost souls to Christ.

Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
