The Dedication of Elsa's Home

Bette, team leader reflected back to the first day where she read from Psalm 118 about Jesus being our cornerstone.  She continued reading out of Psalm 118: 21-24, 26 and 28-29.  Bette shared beautifully how this home will be a home where Jesus will be served and will serve others.  God has answered a long time prayer for Elsa by providing her with this home and Bette thanked her for allowing her church family to be a part of this special time in her life. The Lord has done this today not any of us but God built this home through the hands and feet of folks who were obedient to God's calling.  Blessings upon your home Elsa from God our Father who allowed this week to take place.
We are to praise God for all this and for all His provisions this week.  We are to give thanks to God because you are worthy of praise.  The way Bette shared this was so heart wrenching.  She said it from the bottom of heart and through the power of the Holy Spirit.  We all definitely felt the power of the Holy Spirit in this place and time.  All God's people shout AMEN!

We moved on to the praying over the home, as Pastor Hector led us in prayer of the home dedication with the help of Meida.  As each hand once again touched these blocks some reflected back on the first day praying over the first block and even touching and carrying all 800 of them to make this happen today.  God's goodness and mercy are everlasting  and endure through all generations.  We had many ages working this week on this home and many relationships were built throughout all the ages because it was all done for the glory of God.  One of our young adults Tyler presented Elsa with their family bible. Tyler read from Luke 6:47-48 as he handed her their family bible.  Another young adult Kaylie sketched out a picture of Carla and presented it to her along with her own children's bible.  Kaylie read Matther 19:14 to Kaylie as she presented her with her bible.

Lastly, new team member Rick presented the key to Juan Bautista who is Elsa's husband.  Read humbly read from Isaiah 32:17-18.  Rick shared how blessed we all work to be apart of this week.  This key to his new home will keep him and his family safe and dry.  What a beautiful testimony for one gentleman to present another gentleman a small piece of metal and what a big impact  this small piece of metal will do for this family.  This small gesture will be a huge blessings for many years to come.  The joy on the family's faces as Juan Bautista unlock the door to a dream come true was beyond special.  What a God moment for all there.
