Storms in Honduras

After moving 800 blocks physically by hand they went home to nine hours without power.  The team came the next day after their first opportunity to not any power.  The power remained off for nine hours that day.  We ate supper at five thirty nice and dirty before it got dark.  We ate off of paper plates to minimize the cleaning of dirty dishes.  After supper we had devotionals on the porch with a lot of flash lights.  I believe prior to devotions some of the team took showers in the pilla behind the gift shop.  After devotionals the rest of the team except for a couple went to the pilla and took their bath.
There was not one time this team every complained about being inconvenienced  by the storm or the day before.  They kept receiving opportunities and they kept persevering on toward their goal here and this was serving their Lord.  They simply shared they enjoyed their pilla shower and grateful God provided the rain for the crops and the water for the pilla.  God is good all the time and all the time God is good.

perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Romans 5:4

Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming.
1 Peter 1:13
