Of Course Baseball

The last evening as the sunset this team made one individual very happy our friend, Edwin.  His wife Senovia cooks for us.  Recently Edwin's father passed away and he has struggled with this loss.  Work is scarce.  Edwin was on the campus on Monday and ask could we please play a game of baseball.  I shared this with the team and this is what we did Wednesday afternoon before the sun set.  We were able to enjoy God's creation as the sun went down behind those grand mountains.  Everyone had way too much fun playing baseball.  There was fun had by all. Especially for Ms. Karen out in the outfield chasing the balls which landed in Rudy's bean garden.  Yes we planted a baseball field amidst Rudy's special spot for his garden of bean.  Everyone tip toe through the beans to catch the line drive balls.  Josh shared the last evening how much of a blessing coming together to have fun and fellowship with our brothers from Honduras.  If we were not playing we were cheering them on to victory.  Edwin was a very happy man at the end of the day.  Thank you Longview for making this gentleman smile again.

If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
Ecclesiastes 4:10
