Families Come To Serve Their Lord

Pastor Randy and Karen got blessed this year to have their entire family together in Honduras.  We welcome back Addison and she brought with her sister Payton.  They all worked so well side by side. It was a joy to see this family dynamics here because it brought back sweet memories 18  years ago when we came down to Honduras as family with our two daughters.  Payton even wears odd socks like our youngest daughter does.  It warmed my heart this week to watch these four working for the Lord together.  I can only imagine once they return home how awesome conversations around the dinner table will be when one of them remembers or smells Honduras during their and the entire family can share and understand what it is being said.  How blessed this family is to have this experience all together.

Danielle was blessed after coming four years to bring her son Carson.  They both worked hard together as well as separate.  They had a willing spirit to do whatever for others which was contagious.  Danielle never stops and doesn't quit until it is all completed.  She goes the extra mile and Carson is learning at an early age from his mom good work ethics and he applied them this week in Honduras.  Anything you ask Carson to do he was on and did it very well.  I shared on the last night with all three families the best gift you can give your children is this week in Honduras.  Danielle immediately agreed and was forever thankful for this opportunity.

Welcome back Rebecca for second trip to Honduras.  Welcome Nick who both he and his mom brought a bug to Honduras from North Carolina.  Nick especially struggled all week with it.  He preserved the first day and worked very hard for David Bessy and Rocio.  They both stayed home one day to rest and hopefully get rid of whatever got hold of them.  They got to experience a day in Mike and Ginger's life around lunch time.  We eat lunch with our staff sometimes and this particular day it was a little different it was our last meal with Martha our housekeeper.  Rebecca shared in devotionals that evening what a blessing it was seeing the staff eating their lunch just as the team was eating theirs.  How they circled up and prayed up just as the team was doing at the project.  How beautifully orchestrated this ministry and spirit filled this ministry is in the name of Jesus.  As the week progressed both got better was able to enjoy working for the Lord through construction and VBS.  Rebecca we are grateful you were able to bring Nick to Honduras with you and share in her love for these people.  God is so good!!!!
