Medical Clinic in Cedeno

This was one amazing week in Cedeno.  Pastor Brian had a small problem, his team was too big to build a home.  So God sent along the way on this team a young lady named Lynn who was a nurse.  We asked Lynn would she be willing to do a medical clinic with about ten people helping her.  She shared with me this had been a dream of hers for a very long time.  Well this medical clinic didn't just appear out of all those trunks that bright beautiful morning in Honduras.  Lynn put hours upon hours into this medical clinic.  She invested so much of her personal time in this and as each trunk was open and unloaded her teammates realized what all she had accomplished in the last two to three months.  They had their team lined up for each station upon arrival and they all fell into place.  Pastor Randy who is fluent in Spanish along with Logan who is also fluent in Spanish triaged  the patients as they entered the church sanctuary. After they got checked in Jackie or Anna Kate walked them to their sit as they moved down each time a patient went to see Dr. Sarah.  Once the patient was finished with their visit with Dr. Sarah, Sophie went take them out to show them how to get to the pharmacy.  Sophie did this as well as filled prescriptions with Justin A. all day.  During this week Lynn and volunteers saw and assisted over 205 patients who without their obedience in following Jesus Christ calling to go to Honduras would not have gotten the help they needed.  They gave out deworming to all the people as well as vitamins for adults and children. They gave out medications these sweet people could not afford otherwise.  They did a lot of breathing treatments, feet repair, cleaned out ears and general medical care, such as sinus infections, allergies and so many more symptoms they were sharing with the triage team.  Dr. Sarah assisted them with their most need of all.  When Pastor Randy got caught up each day he shared the gospel with the patients waiting to see Dr. Sarah.  Logan Anna Kate and Avery at 2:30 for three days had VBS with about 75 children out in the church yard with a Bible story, a craft which went with the Bible story and some recreational time as well.  Thank you all for a job well done in the name of Jesus Christ because without his strength and power none of this would have taken place says the team leader for this medical team, Lynn.
