Family Is Not Blood

This week there was a different dynamics of families here.  I honestly only got one of Lynn and Tyler together is why there is only one blood family in this picture.  For some reason this evening during devotional there they were together so I thought let me grab a picture quickly.  Tyler worked hard on construction while Lynn is mother led the medical clinic.  Two very strong leaders in one family, quiet impressive.  Pastor Brian has very little pictures of him and Justin this week because Justin, Pastor Brian's son brought a new friend, his finance, Ana.  When Justin left last year he shared how he wanted to bring his new friend, Ana, who now is engaged to be married.  What a beautiful way to start a life together going on an international mission trip to Honduras.  They worked beautifully side by side all week for their Lord and Savior.  They exemplified a godly couple heading to a journey in a ministry for God one day.  Then there is another type of family. Manuel uno and Manuel dos who love each other so much.  They are not family and not even a neighbor to each other.  Manuel dos lives on the street while Manuel unos family takes great care of him and makes sure he has food to eat and a place to lay his head at night.  Sadly Manuel dos got kicked out of his home and was put on the street.  The church family makes sure he has somewhere each week to lay his head down at night.  So family does not have to be blood in all circumstances.  Family is those who love each other unconditionally like God does us.  Thank you God for bringing your love through these people who are family and are not family on this team.
