Let The Home Began To Form

The team loaded up on three trucks and off we went to the community called Cedeno.  The construction team worked diligently with the nine young people Pastor Brian had on the project.  There was not a translator here for the team so they were able to exercise their Spanish frequently.  They worked hard together as a team to get this home built for Manuel and Yeimi.  Tyler helped Manuel mix mescal because there was only two Hondurans helping him.  It took everyone pushing hard the first two to three days to stay ahead of this project.  Because there team was split up they did not have someone to come and relieve them.  The ones working took turns taking breaks and staying hydrated.  Ana, team member was in charge of keeping all the folks on the project hydrated, Hondurans and North Americans.
Each day the blocks got higher and buckets of mescal got heavier as the team kept up their pace.  They were able to enjoy the children around the job site each day.  Taylor speaks fluent Spanish and was able to share and talk with Jose and his friends daily.  This house was quickly becoming a home as each day passed by.  God is so good and all the time God is so good.
