Praying

The time finally came to pray over the first block.  Due to our small team we did not have Tino nor Meida this week.  So we asked Fernando's sister if she would pray over the first block. As we gathered around Fernando and Juan Carlos all I could think about is how so very proud I am of these eight children who have turned into amazing young people.  Alexia did an outstanding job praising her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for this privilege He is providing her brothers a home where they will be safe and dry from now on.  She thanked God for Mike and Ginger who are faithful to them all these years.  Alexia and Fernando both work at Mount Horeb and they are blessed Juan Carlos also has a job.  These eight children are survivors and we all could learn so much from each of them.  As she prayed I felt the joy only Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit could provide.  This is a special family to Mike and Ginger as well as the two young men from Maryland who are always faithful to this ministry.  As Alexa was thanking God for this week I as well was thanking God for the many blessings amongst Mike and Ginger this bright and beautiful morning in El Carizo.  Thank you God for being faithful to all of us because we were obedient to your calling to serve here this week along side of some amazing young people who do not ever give up put persevere.
