The Widow's Mite

Each day somehow by the Grace of God these eight children provided a hot meal for the Hondurans who were helping them get their home.  We provided the beans, rice and tortillas.  So this plate of Honduran spaghetti you see was what they purchased and cooked for the workers.  This happened on a daily basis, chicken soup was one day, beef and rice was one day and of course bean soup was one day.  Everyday there was a morning coke break and an afternoon coke break which everyone welcomed because it was a hot week here in El Carizo.  Once again these young people provided the cokes as well.  They took what they had and provided so much in appreciation for the help they were receiving throughout this entire week.  My assumption is they had been putting monies back to be able to provide such hardy lunches all week along with coke for everyone.  They truly sacrificed what they had to serve others.  Do we truly sacrifice what we have to further the Kingdom of God?  Do WE?  Just a thought for whoever is reading this.  They gave their all this week in appreciation for what others was doing for them.
