The Final Touches

Mike and his assistant Mark got up and started placing the tin roof in place.  They made an awesome team up there working together as one.  The men below fed the tin up to them.  Thank you gentlemen for making this task much easier and efficient with your servant hearts.

On the ground was Matt and Joe then along came David to help mix the mortar for the floor.  They all pitched in to help Pastor Orlin get it mixed up for Pastor Carlos and Pastor Robert.  Pastor Robert was humbled when Pastor Carlos said come on let's get the floor finished.  Pastor Robert shared he felt like he had earned his way to the top like Mark's devotional earlier this week.  Pastor Robert said I started in the mescal pit and moved on up to Pastor Carlos' assistant by finishing up the floor.  Well done gentlemen.  Todd, Matt, Pastor Orlin and David were busily at work mixing and hauling the mortar to its new home.  Pastor Carlos as always put his final touches on the floor and smoothed it to perfection.

While Pastor Carlos completed the floor the team gathered around the mescal pit to get all the tools cleaned up.  Everyone pitched in to clean tools, to loading the tool box on the truck and whatever else was needed to complete the job they came to do.  They came to build a family a home and they worked   beside the family all week with Roberto and Carlos, his son, to make this house a home.  We are so blessed in this ministry to provide families a home where they can be safe a night with a secure lock on the door.  A place where they can stay dry during rainy season and a place where others can gather and visit and allow Vilma to show her sweet hospitality.  This corner lot will bless many folks for years to come with the genuineness of this family for the love of Jesus Christ.
